This project is an attempt to join many things together: my love of reading, my ongoing development of my voice as a writer, and my desire to document my life and meaningful reflections.
These aren't traditional reviews. I choose books, new and old, that I want to read, at times when they feel relevant to me. My reading choices are usually pretty indicative of where my head is at or what I'm curious about at the moment. This means that I'm only writing about books that I thought that I would like or would learn something from.
Shelf Biography is a indirect chronicling of my life through the lens of literature.
A note about spoilers: I include them. (And actually, you may enjoy the story more if you read the spoilers ahead of time. I know I do.)
